My first ZLauncher Skin attempt ...

Just the very first stages now. I would appreciate some comments on how to improve. Note that the colors in the BG don't show up that dark on actual Clies ... only on screen caps from the emulator.

I was thinking of using some Mac-style icons for the tools, but that will take quite a while as there are many tools there :)

Again, comments welcome.

Thanks for the kind words Jomoco5. I'm working on the tools (gadgets) now. Since they are many more than I have current images for, it'll be a bit before I finish them all.

Above, I posted the compact mode image as is right now. No real changes as I haven't put the new tools in the skin yet.

They come from the newest versions of those programs. They are the hi-density icons for OS5 that ZL can "force" on OS4 devices.

I was just thinking . . . (don't you hate it when I do that?) What if you kept the regular tool icons, but put them on a mac 'bubble' (all the same color -- or clear). I suppose you'd have to make the actual icon smaller . . . I suppose you could even make them 'zoomers' (heh...aren't you sorry you explained that word??)

I'll keep meditating on it, and you know my email if you need a nit-picking guinea pig.

I am not a MAC user, but the skin looks awesome. Keep up the good work. I know MAC users love their X, but i couldn't put a flying window on mine, ya know. Maybe when you get done I will go for the X on my Clie.
