Not very well advertised, but for those interested, Agendus 6.02 was released yesterday...
http://www.iambic.com/english/palmos/agendus/downloadfile.html
They still didn't get it right though with the 'wallpaper'. The error still appears if you use irfanview to create the gif. If you use ms photo editor, it takes forever to come up, and you still get 4 images, starting small at the top and getting bigger as you go down. I don't know why they even bother with this feature if they can't get it right.
I'm not sure what else has been 'updated' or 'fixed'.

Works fine for me on my T665. Check the purge date. I noticed it was set a week prior to today. I don't know for sure, but I don't recall it being that way before.

Does anyone like the new Agendus icon that shows up in zLauncher? I don't. Why do they go changing things that aren't broken?

Now in Agendus View, every meeting is displyed in two lines only. Before, each one will be displayed fully, i.e. occupy as many line as needed.
Is this expected? Seems not mention in the release note thought.
And can this be configed? If not, I would want to switch back to the previous version, since most of my meeting are span more than 4 lines at least.

I tested the multi-line setup, creating 3-line meetings and todos, and it seems to display all lines. I used hard returns to make the lines. Perhaps it's changed the way it breaks lines.
As for the icon, yes they changed it and I agree, it doesn't look as clean because of the diagonal lines. Why do they do things like this? Because they can. I'll bet someone complained or suggested it. Why not write them and complain back.

Regarding the icon, you'll actually find that the old one still exists. There are now three icons attached to the Agendus program: low-res, 8-bit hires, and 16-bit hires.
The new icon, which no one seems to like, is a 16-bit icon that only displays on launcher screens set up to display 16-bit color. I discovered this by accident when I was switching between 8-bit and 16-bit skins in ML4--and thought I was going crazy. I couldn't figure out how or why the Agendus icon was changing.
Right now, I'm using an 8-bit skin (I'm on a T615), so I get the standard Agendus hires icon in my launcher display.
To confuse matters further, if you have the v3bhack set up to be active in your launcher, 8-bit skins will still display the 16-bit icon, but there will be a noticable delay as it is drawn on the screen. (As a result, I have v3bhack turned off, using TealMaster, in ML4.)
(By the way, PocketVinyard is another similar example, but there's no 8-bit hires icon, only a 16-bit, which intially confused me even more.)

Any ideas why it shows with one icon (new one?) in the standard launcher and another icon (old one?) in the clie launcher?

Hi! Bob,
Could you explain more details how you are able to create 3-line Meetings? To-Do is no problem for me, the line span as needed even I don't enter hard returns. I still can not make Meeting to do the same even if I enter hard return explicitly at the end of each line.
I have "Enable Multi-Line Entries With Contacts Only On 1st Line" checked in "All Views" setting. But this is what I get, please see file attached and I circled the places. Thanks!

Hi terry11242003. Think I found it. Make sure "Auto-Size Tables" is checked in Agenda View. Otherwise in the following, I only get two lines as well.
This was my original test.
1. In Preferences, All Views, check Enable Multi-Line ... I don't have any of the other options checked here.
2. Don't know if it matters, but in Agenda View, I have all 3 options checked. THIS MATTERS.
3. I use Split Agenda View. But I tested this in all the other daily views and I still get 3 lines.
4a.Enter a meeting. I entered "Test1<return>Test2<return>Test3. This gives me 3 lines.
4bIf I add a contact, it's on the first line and the rest are on 3 separate lines.
4c. also tried the words "Test1 Test2 Test3 ..." until I got enough for 3 lines. I wanted to make sure it wasn't the returns doing it. But I got 3 lines again.
I'm have a T665. I'm using Agendus 6.02 Build 300.

I too have the same problem with Agendus only displaying 2 lines. Using the message above, I figured out that the problem lies with the "High Resolution Display" option in 'All Views'. If this is disabled, you get as many lines as are entered. If this is enabled, you only get 2 lines.
Terrible!! I am going back to previous version ...

You are right!!! High Resulution Display is the one!!!
No HiRes, Agendus is equal to unusable, IMHO. I, too, switching back to the previous version until there is a fix. This is indeed TERRIBLE!!!
Thanks Bob & heythere! :)

I've been a long-time advocate for Agendus - even took the time to beta test and buy Agendus for Windows. Of late, the builds seem to introduce more issues than they resolve for me. The awful icon and multi-line display issues discussed here are too much. I've gone back to the previous version and will hope that 6.0.3 returns to a usable state on my NR70.
I'm also testing the new BeyondContacts from DataViz which is an attempt at Outlook on the Palm and it has a number of nice touches. My biggest gripe is that DataViz is not, at this point, supporting Clie hi-res mode which is a major turn off and has kept me on Agendus besides testing time.

Sounds cool. I like DateBK5, so I wanted to see how this new version compares to it and if I should switch. Any thoughts.

Hmm. Don't know how I missed that on my first test. I don't use High Res, but when I tried my tests again, that's what it took. I guess I'm lucky in that I don't usually use Hi Res or multi-line. But it is annoying when old features break. Says something about quality control.

Is BeyondContacts available publicly? I'd love to try it, if it is--but I don't see anything on the Dataviz website.
