I want to throw my Clie at the wall right now. Will anyone pay me $500 to watch me do it?

I have spent the last 3 days trying to return it as much as possible to the way it was and I have performed about 10 hard resets so far. Fatal Exception after fatal exception and even some interesting errors that nobody has seen before (including a database not found type message after using JackSprat).

Just venting.

Nahh, for $500 I'd just tape myself throwing my Clie at the wall and go buy an NX ;-)

How about restoring the original ROM, still crashes?

No, but for $500 I will take your image, digitize it, throw it over a 3D human model, digitize a Clie of your choosing and make a movie of you throwing it against a wall that you can play over and over.... or an interactive game that you can play over and over again, throwing your clie at walls, barney, presidential canditates, world leaders that you don't like and or bosses.... any takers? :D

I restored my rom and re removed the garbage. The problem is, I think, is when I hotsync to try and get some of my lost data back It starts crashing requiring a hard reset.

The problem started when I wen't to install a couple of software updates. I thought "I should backup before I do this... Naaa, I want to try out the new Agendus" So I went and installed it and a few other updates and BAM! dead Clie. I wish I backed up, now I have to rely on the hotsyncd files which I want back but happen to cause problems.

I think it was pocket aquarium that did it in. I tried to uninstall it after it didn't do anything but tell me to register. Apparently it is like AOL in that it fights back when you try and uninstall it.

I always find it pays to update/install only one app at a time. That way I am more certain what is causing my machine to crash, should that happen.
