BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth pairing between a CLIÉ and a cell phone can now be achieved in a few easy steps:
With Mobile Connection Wizard on the PC, simply select
- Wireless carrier
- Bluetooth phone model
After synchronizing, users can complete the device pairing through the Mobile Manager application (on the handheld). Carrier data service fees apply.
WI-FI
Wi-Fi configuration of their PEGA-WL100 wireless LAN card to communicate with multiple access points in the office, home, and a T-Mobile hot spot, can be achieved simply by inputting the following through the PC component:
- Access Point Network ID (SSID)
- Encryption Level (if any)
- WEP key
Upon completion, the MCW software transfers all of the settings to the CLIÉ handheld through a simple HotSync operation.
Finally, the Mobile Manager makes it easy to switch between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless connections.
