aight, so i finally recieved my boxwave proctector, first thing i noticed was it was MUCH CLEARER then my brando i have been using for bout 6 month, but only down side would be the rims on the boxwave is very ruff and very visual, you would know what i mean if you have one.. but the problem is, i put on the screen perfect and fine with no dust under it, but i noticed this sorta white string under the protector on the bottom left rim, so i looked closer and it was a piece of protector, the rim seems so ruff that it had few pieces of plastic hanging off it and it got stuck under the protector, well i press really hard on the screen after i put it on to make sure its air tight and i could get the protector off with tape, so what i did was use a thin needle to lift the protector, but doing so i scratched the underside of the protector and now its very visual on the screen, but i did get to remove that lil piece of plastic under the screen, you guys think boxwave would maybe replace this screen? or do i have to buy a new one? cuz i know if you had this kinda problem with brando, that they would replace it, so is it even worth emailin boxwave? or jus live with the scratch..?

I don't know for sure that Boxwave will replace your screen protector, but you should definitely ask. It sounds as though your screen protector was flawed--I and two other people I know use
Boxwave and have never encountered the problem you described. I've tried several screen protectors, but none of them (IMHO) comes close to the quality of Boxwave protectors. They create this incredibly smooth writing surface--the stylus glides much more easily than "going bare."

I have also found the edges to be rough - and have had trouble getting rid of those little pieces of plastic.
I would e-mail them and ask for a replacement. It can't hurt.

Contact ... wingyew@boxwave.com ... at Boxwave. He has been on the forums here at ClieSource and Brighthand on several occasions and he was most helpful.
I have a Boxwave coming on Monday and he said that if I was not fully satisfied with mine to contact him personally. Glad to hear that it's much clearer than Brando. So far for me the Brando has been the best protector ... but too milky in appearance. Can't wait to try mine on Monday.
Good luck!

i'll jus wait till i get a respond back from sales@boxwave.com, if i dont get a response back by monday then i'll email that guy you know, well i jus gotta say, this screen is the BOMB, for real, see i thought brando was the best, didn't even think bout buyin another screen, but ive been readin some reviews on the boxwave, and they said that its lil more clearer then brando, so i said why not and ordered some, at first i thought it was gonna be jus like brando, but i just gotta say, it is SOOOOOOO much better then brando, quality wise, i say brando is better since brando's edges were perfectly cut, while boxwave was very rough visible edges, but clarity is jus the shieeett... it literally looks like theres no screen on it, thats how clear it is, and everything looks so much sharper, brando made the fonts kinda blurry and the pictures too, but boxwave, everything is so sharp and focused, i love it... now only if they replace my screen.. heh..

But don't the NuShields have to be installed under the edges of thescreen, like the G2s? I understood that the BoxWave is a stick on, albiet more like postit notes type sticky.

Just received mine today after reading opinions of other ClieSource members.
Didn't get mine on straight at first. Was able to use a credit card to get under a corner of the screen protector so I could lift it off and reposition it.
Perhaps I'm too easy to please but edges don't seem too rough to me. My only other screen protector experience is with WriteRight on a Palm Vx. Adhesive stinks! Hooray for Boxwave's ClearTouch.

i got my Boxwave ClearTouch a couple days ago...delivery took 4 days, and i had it installed on my NX60 without any trouble within about 10 minutes of opening the package. the protector itself went on very easily...took me a couple tries only because i wound up with some dust under it the first time. the ClearTouch is a near-perfect fit, and i didn't notice any problems with rough edges at all. i don't really have any experience with other brands (just got my first pda), but i can say that the ClearTouch is hardly noticeable...no decrease in touchscreen sensitivity, doesn't affect the color/brightness of the screen significantly, and cuts down on glare a little. the only difference i've noticed is a change in texture...the protector feels a little more like writing on paper instead of the slick pda screen, but i don't think it's a bad thing in any way.
overall, i'm very pleased with the ClearTouch so far. i've seen the protectors other people have on their screens (lot of people using the terrible WriteRights), and am glad i decided to try something different...no clouding or bubbles like i see others tolerating. my screen is protected now and still looks great

I think I would be willing to try the Boxwaves if they were to smooth out the edges as I have heard that many people think that the Boxwave edges are very rough. For now I'll stick with my Brando Screen protector.

Hi all!!!
Sorry I've been gone - but to answer the question, the cut shouldn't be rough AT ALL :p. The machine used to do it cost far too much ;) to have any flaws like that.
Yes, please - let us get you a replacement - shoot us an email at custserv@boxwave.com.
As always, satisfaction is key - I'll be glad to help however I can.
Take care!!!

ok guys, i got the email back from boxwave, he said he is willing to trade in the screen, but i must ship him the damaged one to him and then he will ship me a replacement, the thing is, that will be 4-5 days to ship the screen to him and also bout 4-5 days to recieve the new one, so ill be without a protector for 10 days, what do you guys think? i dont want to risk scratchin my screen within those 10 days, and i already threw out my old brando one, should i jus keep my faulty screen and buy a new one? or risk sending him back the screen and take the chance of scratchin the screen while waitin for a new one? i personally think it'll be cheaper to buy a new one instead of having my screen scratched which will cost 100x more to replace, i use my clie for work, and i'm on it almost all day, so i'll probably scratch the screen within the 10 days.. what should i do?

If I were in your shoes I think I would buy another and just use the replacement one as a backup to the one you are about to purchase. Hope that wasn't too confusing.
