My NX73v has crashed it's last crash. for the last three months it has needed to be hard reset a number of times, with no obvious reason it has beed rather frustrating. I have been running apps like landscape, mca2, pocket tunes, mapsonic etc, some of which were never really meant for the clie, I ditched pocket tunes in the hope that it was the culprit, but no joy there, it crashed again halfway to a job while I was using mapsonic to get me there......I was a bit late. the memory stick backup was good for a while but recently it has not been reinstalling everything it backed up, and I have to reinstall all my apps from scratch which takes a lot of time.
Sony have let me down in so much as there is no new Palm OS PDA that will take a compact flash card, which is essential for my job. The NX73v was the greatest and most usefull gadget I ever bought and I will be gutted to no longer use it, I will keep it in a box to open and look at once in a while and rremember the good old days of teaming up with like minded clie users to create the most amazing skins and watching in amazment as people like cliepet and pelaca break the boundries of device limitations to give us what the manufacturer should have out of the box.
my final word is DELL. Yes I have bought a Dell Axim X50v I swore I would never go to PPC but the screens are better now and it takes CF cards and has WIFI built in and has a faster processor and takes the Mapsonic app I already bought. I will reserve judgment to whether I will be converted, I'm not sure I will ever get used to PPC handwriting after becoming one with Decuma. This is not goodbye as one day I may come back and post, I may even try to continue to make skins for Palm OS apps.
Thankyou to everyone who has PM'ed me or helped over the last few years I have enjoyed being part of this community.
Cheers to you all (for now) ;)

I wish you all the best with your PPC and i hope the PPC will make his job better than your Clie. By the way - there are also tools to skin PPCs :)

Hi ir803, I won't say goodbye to you; just because your Palm pet has crashed, doesn't mean your presence here has to go. Wish you well in your absence.
