First the bad news, then the good:

Bad news:
- jogdial is smaller and therefore more slippery
- graffiti and applications button do not power on the device
- no control over when the keyboard lights up
- up/down button too edged (but IMO not as bad as some make it to be)
- cover doesn't flip all the way back

Good news:
- the screen - what a freakin' screen!!! It's not expandable, but I didn't use the full screen enough on the NX60 to miss this too much. As for the wavy light along the bottom - oh, please! I do see it, but I don't even notice it after a few seconds! You have to see it side by side with the NX60 to appreciate how much brighter this screen is. The colors are literally the best I've seen on any Palm to date. Look at a picture or a movie clip side by side - wow! I'll take the wavy bottom!
- speaker: to match the brighter screen there is also a much louder speaker.
- back button much easier (what a difference! They really need to combine the jogdial of the NX60 with the back button of the TG50)
- formfactor - this is obviously a matter of personal opinion, but I find this to be the best formfactor to date. The side power/hold button - awkward for the first few days, but an improvement over the constant accidental "hold" with the NX60. When I first saw a Clie with a keyboard, I immediately bought it (the NR70), but wasn't crazy about the clamshell formfactor because of its size. But this thing is so nice and compact, and believe me, the keyboard just takes getting used to compared the NR and NX keyboards (which were themselves quite awkward for a time as we can so easily forget!)
- keyboard - keys are definitely more difficult to press, but believe me, this goes away with time - they just need to loosen up - this is NOT a perception issue - they really do loosen up!. The fact that the keyboard lights up is absolutely fantastic for dark room typing. It makes you wonder why this isn't a default on all keyboard enabled pda's.
- graffiti - okay, here is where I go against the grain. I LOVE the built in graffiti! The thing is, if, like myself, you use the keyboard 99% of the time (which I know most people don't), then the little popup grafiti is perfect for that occasional character you want to write in. I am a fast graffiti writer and a fast typist. The speed of input with the keys simply cannot be matched by graffiti. All I wanted was a keyboard in tablet formfactor, with the possibility of occasion graffity-ing. This thing is precisely that.

Last comments:
- I LOVE the NX60 and am in no way putting it down. In fact, I now consider it the SECOND best Clie out there (next to, of course, the new TG!)
- Do NOT let the wavy light on the bottom even remotely influence your decision if you are considering this unit. It is simply not a big deal at all.
- Likewise, don't worry about the hardness of the keys. This thing is getting easier and easier and it feels SOLID.

Well, my 2 cents! Hope this helps any prospective buyers.

I just can't get over the wavy lines. The screen is beautiful and by far the best I've seen, but I'm not spending $400 for something with such an obvious defect. I really wanted to buy the TG over the NX but just couldn't do it. The screen was the killer for me. If somehow they could fix that, I'd buy it in an instant.

It's kind of like when I get a ding on my car. I know it's not that big of deal but when I walk out to my car that is the first thing I notice and it irritates me. Kind of the same thing with the TG's screen.

I really like the tg50. sleek, excellent screen, bluetooth, nice keyboard. However, I would love to see a similar machine with no keyboard/ just vg and about an inch or so shorter.
