Read the write-up too... I can't see any real difference. What's the point of the new model???

I don't know there is a huge change to the 'new model'. but who knows with Sony ..... Probably some micro-code change internally which required it to be re-verified/approved by the FCC.

So, the new one has 2 lights instead of just one and it works for a shorter physical distance than the current WL100. Why did they even bother???

More lights...? CLEARLY I gotta have one, that in itself is a FEATURE...! THough that might also draw more power... so I need another battery... with that I might need another bad to cary it in... and then I might as well..... Nahhhhh

As the write up said, the only real difference may be that the WL100 was purchased from another company and sold by Sony. The WL110 may be manufactured by Sony.
