you could read the primer on Tanker Bob's Palm Page (http://www.tankerbob.com/palm/). It's a good place to start. I have Launcher X (http://download.com.com/3000-2363-10186159.html?tag=lst-0-1) and it moves stuff on and off the MS. I've had no problems with Launcher X but it seems that there has been some poor support recently.
Hope this helps:)

You don't necessarily need a 3rd party launcher to use your MS. There are a couple programs that let you run apps off the memory stick w/o problems. PiDirect is one i think and so is MSMount. I don't have much experience with these apps because they don't work for OS5 but they should work for you.

There are now many programs with MS support built in. For instance; SplashPhoto queries the MS for images, Mapopolis can get maps from the MS, MyBible reads from the MS, and QuickOffice can get/save to the MS.
So far, I haven't tried putting any applications on the MS, and running from there. My understanding is that the MS is much slower than main memory, and therfore one wouldn't really want to run an application from it. I put large databases on my MS - i.e. Mapopolis Maps, and several Bible translations.
I still haven't passed the half-full mark on my 128MB MS.

So far, I have used my MS for backup and am looking at the launcher and file managers mentioned in other threads. Kind of excited about the possibilities and want to make sure I take advantage of what's out there...but I don't want to screw up!
Thanks...and keep posting if you have other suggestions...
