Hi everyone

Just curious about which email applications you are all using for your Clies? I know of clie mail and snappermail and the agendus mail offering. Are there any other/better clients out there?

I'd love a mail program that can do the following:

1. Download all emails to my Clie from Mozilla Thunderbird when I hotsync.
2. Download email headers via a bluetooth GPRS connection to my mobile
3. Allow me to respond to emails and then send them next time I hotsync.

What does everyone else use? Has anyone succesfully synced Mozilla Thunderbird with their clie?

Is there a mail application which will connect DIRECTLY to the pop3 / smtp server when the Clie is in the cradle? I can't imagine how this might work but perhaps someone has devised such an application.

Versamail will connect directly to the server through the cradle. I have a Treo 600 for work that I use Versamail with and it's quite good. My favorite is Snappermail which is installed on my NX70. I would rather use that one since I don't have to hotsync to retrieve my mail. Versamail will also connect without using a cradle, but it seems to be a bit slower than Snappermail is. I would try them both out and just see which one you like better.

OK so the disadvantage of Snappermail is that it does not do the HotSync thing?

Also, which version of Versamail are you using? I've heard some of the later versions do not work on Clies.

Yeah, if Snappermail has the ability to "hotsync" email, I have yet to find it. If my thoughts are right, Versamail's conduit is the "magic link" that allows you to hotsync your mail directly from the mail server to your PDA(instead of a sync to your dekstop email client)......Snappermail doesn't have this.

I don't have Versamail installed on my Clie. As I replied earlier, it's on my Treo.. :( I can't give you any help as far as which version works with the Clie. If I have time tonight, I might play around and see if I can get it installed onto my Clie.
