Could someone tell me if theres someway, through the install CD or what, that I could get my UX50 back to factory defaults including software (even if some programs were removed)??

I've searched the CD myself and can't seem to find my answer as well as the forums somewhat. I hadn't found JAmerican's thread about the Media Launcher before I found the media launcher itself and as a result I kinda messed up my UX50. Its fairly new, as in stock, so I wouldn't mind if I lost anything in the process.

Edit:
Well I was fooling around and using zlauncher I copied audio player (that was messed up) to the memory stick and then deleted it and its other database items. Then I ran media player again and everything was cool, go figure. But I would still like to know the answer to my original question if anyone has the answer.

hard reset ?

just to make it clear: to hard reset your ux, press the power button down, and while it pressed, reset your device (from behind), wait a few seconds and release the power button. you'll get a popup asking you to press the up arrow to hard reset or any other key to exit.
keep in mind that EVERYTHING in your ram will be delete, so backup what you need befor you hard-reset.
this will NOT delete anything on your internal media nor the backup memory.

OK so say I wanted to sell my UX50 (God Forbid), would I have to manually go in and delete stuff from internal memory?? Thanks for the answers by the way guys.

yes, the stuff in the internal memory is not affected by a hard reset. Also you need to clean the back-up/restore memory.
