I'm hoping someone can help me out here. First off, where I work they have a rule about no electronic devices, or imaging devices. They let us get away with having our cell phones on "the floor" (I work in a call center - from hell) as long as they are off, or in vibrate mode. I keep my cellphone in its "manner" mode while at work.

What I'd like for my Zodiac, or any Palm OS pda with a vibrate feature, is some sort of programmable manner mode or sound profile so during specific times of the day I can have alerts and alarms go off without other people knowing. I'd like it, specifically, not to sound any alarms or anything and only vibrate during specific times during the week and work normally on the weekends.

Is there a program such as this?

Don't know about any automatic way of doing it, but to achieve that manually on the Zodiac go into the Sound prefs and turn Alarm Volume off and Alarm Vibrate on.

Heck, you could set a daily alarm to remind you to do this. Even set one for the end of the day to remind you to turn the alarm sound back on.

Free solution :)

Good news. I have seen an app that does just that. Bad news. I have no idea what it is called.

I don't know if this is what kennyd was talking about but here is something I found on PalmGear. Mute Toggle (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=96367). It does cost $2 but it may be what you're looking for. :)

Thanks, TennMan, I checked that program. Honestly, it doesn't look like it is any more then the audio enhancement we have with the 1.1 update that allows you to mute the device from the home screen. If I didn't already have that functionality, I would get the application. Thanks.

Isn't anyone else looking for, or needing, a similar application?
