I just lost about 5 hours work in D2G. I had been saving periodically without a problem. Just a while ago, however, saving produced the error message: MemoryMgr.c,Line:3654 Free Handle. I would do a warm reset, return to the document, and try to save again. After about three attempts, the document itself was gone and does not show up among the D2G files.
I had hotsynced a little earlier, so I figured the file would be on my computer. For some reason, it's not there, but another file which I had done since yesterday's hotsync was on the desktop.
BTW, this is a simple text (Word2Go) document. No tables, graphs, etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

I know you mention there are no graphs, charts, etc. and D2G still crashes. I had the same problem and it turned that EndNote (a bibligraphic program) was causing it. I unformatted the entire document and it began to work fine. I'm not sure if you use EndNote or not, but D2G has a tough time dealing with any fancy formatting. Perhaps you can cut and paste your text (no formatting) into a new Word file and see if that one works.
Hope this helps.

Kyle,
Thanks. I created the file in D2G. I don't know if it's had anything to do with it, but I have tried to import a NotaBene file into D2G in the past. I wonder if something from NB got left over in D2G. At any rate, on the 3rd failed save attempt and soft reset, after I had successfully saved the file many times while composing it, the file was lost---vanished. Also, often when I open D2G, I will get something like a "searching compatible files" message. If I click "cancel," it takes me to D2G files. If I wait and let it do its searching thing, the above error message comes up and demands a soft reset. Pressing the "reset" box does nothing, so I have to press the recessed reset button on the TH55 itself.
I may need to simply uninstall D2G and reinstall, or even backup the Clie and do a hard reset.
