View Full Version : HELP ! I need help installing Zlauncher.
I installed it to my memory stick along with zl-manager. I can't get it to work. It keeps saying "No available theme for this device. please install at least one them which matches the device." I think I did. Can anyone help...

don't install the palm os 5 theme. you want to install the 64k hires sony theme (or something like that, don't remember the exact name).
What did you use ? Or you just use the standard clie, and haven't changed your background.

I use ZL and I think I used the theme file that has something about "...SonyHR_64k" or something similar in the filename.
Ok, but did you install it to your memory card... I think I installed the right one. But it wouldn't recognize or something...

Never mind I type too slowly... but I guess you can use this for reference if you want to store BG's themes and icons on your MS....
Using your file manager create a directory in PALM/PROGRAMS called ZLauncher. Then inside that make 3 folders in this order
BackImage
IconSet
Theme
Note there are no spaces in between the words!!!
Please though make sure before you do this that they are not there already!!!
Just put the different files in the correct folders on your MS!!! Now when you want to change things around you just need to use theme manager form the ZL menu under options.
Good Luck.

sheik is right. I forgot that themes can be put on MS but ZL moves the theme you are currently using to RAM. I am not sure if the very first theme when you first install ZL has to be in RAM or not to start out. Might be a good idea

Your are correct, the theme has to be in RAM. The other folders on the memory stick are necessary to store additional backgrounds, themes, and icons.
