Not quite. You will find better WMV support on the PPC side, since MS sells the liscenses for WMV, but for AVI, there are a couple choices. MMPlayer works, but it is extremely slow. TCPMP is a new FREE player that can playback AVI files, and its developer is now working on making it use the hardware acceleration found on the Sony PDA motherboard. The PDAs that have this are the TH, UX, and VZ models. Look it up, its definitely the best solution for the Palm OS right now.
