Hello!

I've poked around in the registry, and I couldn't find what I'm looking for, so I am wondering if there is another way... Here's a quick background:

I am a big fan of the TivoToGo feature available on all of the series 2 TiVo units. For those of you who don't know what this is, you can transfer recordings from your TiVo to your PC for playback. The files are transferred in a loosely encripted MPG format, but they have a .TiVo file extension.

To play .TiVo files on a PC, you need to install the "TiVo Desktop" software that includes a .dll that decripts the .TiVo file and allows Windows Media Player to play the file. I am wondering if the .dll would work for IC1.5 as well. Which gets us back to the title of this thread:

I would like to hack Image Converter to try to accept .TiVo files for conversion.

I've tried PSPVideo9, but the .MP4 files that it creates does not seem to be compatible with "Temporary File" feature of IC1.5. Anyone have any suggestions there?

PSPVideo9 does look like it could work for me as it has native support for .TiVo files.

I'm not sure if I have stated this, but my goal is to have a single step conversion of video files from my TiVo to my Clie. I believe that if IC1.5 could recognize .TiVo files as an accepted "Files of type" that I would have what I am looking for. I do have a 2-step process that works fine, in which I strip off the DRM from the .TiVo file and then IC works like a champ... :)

Thanks,
