Anyone have any luck bluetoothing to the Blackberry 7100 phone? I keep getting asked for a passkey and I have no idea what is wanted. Both devices see each other but then the dreaded "PASSKEY" comes up. Blackberry tech said you can't do it, however, knowing the abilities of the UX-50 users, there must be someone who has done it.

Try using 1234 as the code.

Thanks, that's farther than I get. Perhaps the T-Mobile people were correct. I wonder why it won't work?

Have you tried leaving the Passkey blank on both ends?
If not...try that.

Smeggie, it worked, at least they are now a paired device, but then what? Nothing seems to be coming over from either the UX-50 or the 7100. At least you got me this far...now for the data!

I originally did just that, left both blank, and nothing was working. At least the 1234 makes them paired, which was more than they were doing before. Does that make them a same sex couple???

Easy there, Helene!! This site is pristine so try to keep it clean Helene!!! :)
Try launching Netfront Browser and watch both devices to see what they do.

I'm assuming that you have a T-Mobile data account...
If not, you will need one.

I'm also assuming that you have already set up a Bluetooth connection in Prefs/Network or are using Connection Manager... (http://www.clie-link.com/UK/updates.asp?ID=1417&submenu=updates.asp&mainmenu=compatibility.asp#)

However, I just wanted to see if it could be done. Sorry that I may have offended this pristine board with my attempts at humor. I am not sure why anyone hooks up their UX-50 with their cellphone other than to see if it can be done. Anyway, thanks to all and again you have been stellar in all your help! I don't post often, but I do lurk...
