I've been out of touch on the CLIE boards since I bought my T665. I am looking at the NX60 for it's larger screen real estate and higher processing speed. What is the wireless LAN slot used for. Would I get a LAN card and sync with my PC using that instead of cables?

If that is the case, are there any other uses. I guess I just can't see what good it would do me (how hard is it to sync in a cradle or with a cable?).

If anyone has any thoughts on this, please respond.

Thanks

at this stage the slot is just for Sony WLAN card and maybe some modems.... and that is it.... you will require a WLAN base station but yes you would be able to sync via air... also you would be able to access the web using NetFront from home, office or public WLAN POP's....

More of a gimic than anything else..... could be fun tho
