The Zod is nifty :D

It's compatibility level is about the same as the Clies, so pretty much anything that's OS5 will work on it.

Yes, just don't expect to use real player, it has its own built in music app, but prtty much everything you used on your Zire should, but may not depending on what it was, work on your Zodiac, and if you can, get the Zodiac 2.

yes, they are the same besides the memory, but that alone is worth the extra money, unless you store all your apps on sd card or something. Also, if you can, buy it on ebay. i've seen zodiac 2s going for around $250 there, with accessories and games.

The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP) is EXCELLENT on the Zodiac. I recommend 1GB or 2GB SD cards to store movies, etc

I don't have a zodiac yet, but I've tried the demo model at compusa and read lots of reviews(every review on the first ten pages of a google search for tapwave zodiac) and I'm going to sell my Zire 72 and buy one on eBay. Is there anywhere with better prices than eBay? zodiac 2 is $250 there.

I've had mine since last June, and love it. It is just awesome!

I also customize mine with skins from SkinIt! (www.skinit.com) to cover up some scratches from when it was accidentally dropped. They add a bit of flair, and make it unique. Plus they add a bit of protection, without comprimising the size of the device.

I just wish I had a better flip cover that not only covered the screen but the whole front and snapped or clipped to the bottom of the unit so it didn't slide all over.
