I accidentally allowed a Mavis Beacon program sync to my TH55. The hot sych went ok, in fact, the log shows that it was successful. But the TH55 is still sitting here with the message "cleaning up - please wait. Will this resolve itself in a meaningful time frame. I have already done the hard reset twice. That doesn't seem to to it. Mavis is the only thing that would have been new on this sych. If I ever get a screen back Iwill delete it. Any clue on how to prevent Mavis from loading in the first place.

If you really did a HARD reset, Mavis shouldn't be in RAM any more. Unless you installed on your memory stick. Maybe you could try to power up the unit without memory card.

I fixed my problem with the Mavis Beacon program.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the hotsync program. It was essentail to reboot the computer before resyncing the TH55. Between the unistall of hotsync, I located the sync file on my computer hard drive and deleted the offending program. When I did the reinstall and hotsysc everything worked out OK.

Thanks for everyone who helped out!
