Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and has just gotten my TG50 today. I love the design of this new clie and i previously had the S320 which just wouldn't want to charge. Seems like there's a problem with the contact i guess.

Anyway, I got myself the Missing Sync and everything seems to work fine with my Powerbook G4. However, I'm unsure whether I can use the picsel viewer with my mac. I actually need to use it pretty much for my university work. Anyone out there who knows how i can use it with my powerbook?

Also, can I install the programmes from the CD into my mac and clie so that I get to use them? Or are they only for windows? Do i need the memory stick on order to sync with iPhoto?

Hope there're some of you people who can help me out in these issues. Thanks very much!

All you require to use Picsel viewer is a clie, it doesn't need any desktop support. You can use it just as easily with a Mac as with a PC

You need a memory stick for almost everything. After you get a memory stick, put the clie on the cradle and click, MS Import. From there it will load your memory stick onto your desktop. From there, you can just drag and drop excel, word docs, etc. to the memory stick. When you open iphoto, click export. From there the missing sync will have a 'plug in' pop up asking how large do you want the pics to be on your clie, etc.. It is a great program, but you definitely need a memory stick.

Is there anyway I can install the programmes from the CD that comes with CLIE on my mac? It seems that I need drivers for the programmes. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Where do the excel and word docs go into? They need a folder in the MS correct?

And since Appleworks can save in any of the Microsoft office formats, can I view Appleworks produced documents?

You can put them anywhere on the memory stick. Use Picsel Viewer to explore the memory stick and load your documents.
