Hi all,

now that summer's finally on the road (at least in my life), I've been wanting to actually try out the translated Media Launcher on my TH55, and not just install it and then hard reset cuz i chickened out.

I've followed every step that JAmerican wrote out in the thread floating around the UX-series forums, but for some strange reason, the ML doesn't seem to like my '55. I've successfully installed it, but running it is another story: I've got the messed up Movie Player, and the Audio Player sometimes wonks out on me. The Photo tab works perfectly fine though, as everyone else stated.

I've used Palm Insider Pro to copy the files from MS to RAM, and used FileZ to check the IDs of the AudioPlayer to make sure it's the right one for hte skin.

Has anyone been able to get the ML working properly on their TH55?

Thanks in advance guys/gals!

Did you use the TH55 file package?

All I did was copy the files to MS with Data Import, then to ram with zlauncher file manager, reset and it worked fine.

you mean the movie player doesn't have that weird thingy where the GUI buttons kinda peek through the video while it's playing?

and yes, i downloaded the package from the freeware section, the package that JAmerican made.

yes, my media launcher video player also has the top buttons peaking out from the top as well. It doesnt seem to work properly but still, it works on 2 zooms, but when you put it in 320x320 then the buttons start to peak put from the top. And you dont even need zlauncher to transfer the file. All you need is the data export and clie files. But i dont know about your
MP3 problem though, mine seems to work properly. But i will start using media launcher when the update from mobile-stream comes out. Seeing how i dont need video but mp3 and photo.

wait.... can i just install the audio and photo tabs? because i don't need the movie player at all. although it would be a nice touch. LOL.

My advice -- ditch it. Get TCPMP instead.

Dont get "TCPMP unstable" even though the name sounds very dangerous, ive downloaded it anyway and guess what?! ITS UNSTABLE!! so just download the stable version.

There's a new version out today -- it's quite stable -- I haven't had any problems

so far i haven't had troubles with TCPMP, even though it's "unstable"
