I've got Repligo on a Clie NR70v. I've got a Canon BJC-85 Mobile Printer with Infrared. When I try printing a document from my Clie, it finds my printer just fine (says "found BJC-85"), begins sending the data to the printer via infrared, but freezes at 19%, and then spits out a bunch of random characters from the printer.

Is my printer simply not supported yet? Or is there another issue that needs addressed here? Any help you could give me would really be appreciated. This is an outstanding application, and I'd love to continue using it!:)

From
http://www.cerience.com/docs/palm/docs1.1/index.htm#Printing

"RepliGo Viewer supports printing to infrared enabled printers manufactured by HP (Hewlett-Packard). The Palm OSŪ based handheld device must have infrared capabilities either integrated into the device or as an add-on component.

Devices that support Bluetooth such as Palm's Tungsten T and the Sony Clie NZ90 can print via Bluetooth to an HP Bluetooth enabled printer. See your device's documentation.

Text in documents printed from RepliGo Viewer is printed at a high resolution. Some graphs, charts, photos, and other images may have lost some of their original quality in the conversion process due to compression."

I printed a few documents on my HP Photosmart 1215. It was pretty cool to say that I did it, but it was PAINFULLY slow!! It's not really the fault of RepliGo; it's just that IR is slow to do anything. But if you didn't have any other options and didn't need to do it very often, it does work with an HP printer.

I printed a few pages using an HP Laserjet 5P at work. It took about 30 seconds to process and print each page. I wouldn't try to print out any docs over a couple pages. I agree that it was the IR comms between my NX and the printer that was most likely the bottleneck.

well printing from my Clie isn't something that I would do often, but I'm a real estate agent, and every once in awhile, I have the need to print out contracts or offers or something on the spot. Normally I just carry extra's with me, but if I can print them out my Clie onto my IR printer, then it's just that much more convenient:)

All I could try was the HP 4050C which is a wonderful color printer. Unfortunately I wasn't able to have repligo print nor in color nor in b&w. It was like as if it printed with an awful large offset that made the beginning of the page appear at the end of the paper, thus making it useless.

Anybody w/ this problem solved?

thx

How about Printboy infrared/buletooth,etc printing pgm which prints from WordSmith or Docs to Go-it works great for me.
But...how do you print clie-taken photos?

You can use the same IR port on a HP Printer or take out the MS and put it into the HP printer that has an MS reader. Of course there is always the desktop PC or Sony's own photo printers.
