Hi all!

I finally got my wireless adapters (I bought both a Hagiwara MS Wireless adapter, as well as the SonyWL110 CF adapter), and I'm trying to make is so that I can easily surf from my NX70.

I've been using the Hagiwara MS as my adapter (the WL110 isn't as robust, as it can't detect the Access Points like the MS can... in fact, I haven't really used the WL110 since both it & the Hagiwara can't be used together due to device conflicts) with Netfront 3.0, and I keep getting the "Page too Large" errors while surfing. Most pages will come up with that error, and it's pretty damned annoying.

Is there any way to fix this? Is this a problem because I'm surfing from a MS, and the unit does not have any free memory on which to store the cache (as large images might be cached on the normal MS in the slot)? Do I need to upgrade to Netfront 3.1?

On that note - is there a way to Upgrade Netfront? I've checked the Access website, and there's no downloads available for Netfront on PalmOS devices. It's pretty frustrating.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

well netfront 3.1 is a bit better at displaying webpages than 3.0 so i advise u to get netfront 3.1 and use zlauncher to move it over to ur nx70. u still get the page too large error sometimes on 3.1.

The Page Too Large error usually means you've run out of stack/dynamic memory, or the page is physically too big to fit into the stack.

You could try to clear our your stack by doing a soft reset, and there's always that unlimited dynamic memory hack program you could try if that doesn't work...

Thanks for your replies guys!

SonyStyle - I've actually looked high&low for Netfront V3.1. I can't seem to find it ANYWHERE, including the webpage of the manufacturer (access). I seems that they just bundle it with hardware, but don't make it available to the general public. I installed Netfront 3.0 from the CD that came with my NX70, so that's the only one I have access to.

Is there anywhere I can get Netfront V3.1? If so, please let me know and I'll download it.

(BTW, why do I have to use zlauncher with it? Can't I just hotsync it over, or is there an issue with that?)

Cyker - I figured I was probably running out of storage/memory. What's this "unlimited dynamic memory hack" program that you speak of? Sounds useful! :D

Thanks again!

You have to use ZLauncher of McFile because this file is not designed to be moved between handhelds. For the same reason it cannot be hotsynced, because of the file attributes and such. ZLauncher works best.
