Can anyone advise me? I have just upgraded my V600 to the D500 and then I read on the Samsung UK site that the D500 cannot be linked to the TH55 as Palm have not got the correct software. Is this true or is there a way around it? Just got V600 to act as modem but it has other faults which is why upgrading. Thanks in advance

My wife has the D500 and I haven't once been able to "discover" it while searching for bluetooth enabled devices. It doesn't seem to have problems finding any others - just hers.

Have just paired TH55 with a friend's D500 so looking good so far. Will post to let you know how I get on with my own D500 which should arrive next week.

 I upgraded from Nokia 6100, which would communicate with FunSMS app. on the TH55 - the D500 wouldn't link to the TH55 either by Bluetooth or IrDA. I suspect the Sony TH55 drivers are incompatible with a lot of phones, as I couldn't get the TH to communicate with a Nokia 6230 either by IrDA or Bluetooth. There don't appear to be any driver updates, and Sony don't seem interested in doing one. The TH does communicate with Sony phones (Surprise surprise). It really lets the TH55 down a lot in this respect, shame on Sony really

I've just upgraded to a Samsung E720, which I think is quite similar to the D500. Pairing with the TH-55 went fine, but dialling the usual *99# gave me a PPP timeout error. I can dial fine with Mobile High Speed (http://www.novamedia.de/e_pages/e_produkte_palm.html) but I feel silly paying for something when I should be able to find out a dialstring.

I'd paired my new Samsung SGH-Z130 but I couldn't send anything to the phone.

Had that same prob with my mums d500, after a bit of fiddle trying to find out how to sort it out, found that if you go to bluetooth settings and go to where it says to keep bluetooth privacy on, 'turn it off' that way you will be detected also tip is best to give your device a nickname

I've found the problem in my Samsug, I've paired it with a BT antenna to my desktop and the Samsung hasn't the file interchange profile, it came with freehands and headphones profiles only, that could be your problem, so I'm gonna stick to my "old" Motorola v535
