I'm creating movies in iMovie on my Mac...not sure what settings I'm using at Export, either MPEG4 or Sorensen. I can open and convert these in Image Converter 1.1 but I can't open them in IC 1.5 or 2.1 I get a "file is not supported" message.

Any clues?

Thats because 1.5 and 2.1 makes MPEG4 files thats why u cant convert them its seeing them as a file it may have converted. Dont convert them to MPEG4 just regular MPEG and then convert them with 1.5 or 2.1. What device are u using to watch these movies on?

I think thats why u can view mpeg4 videos because u dont have the codecs to play them, u have to download the codecs from the vz series clie and then play MP4 videos, then again I dont think the th55 will accept those codecs only the ux50. Try it and see there is a thread in the vz series that will explain it to u look at it and read it all to see what the th55 users have said.

I'm not having a problem on the TH55 (yet). My problem is that IC 1.5 or 2.1 running on Win2000 can not open my Quicktime movies--which I personally made in iMovie from home video footage.

Image Converter 1.1 can open these exact same files. So, I've been using IC 1.1 to convert these to MQVs and view on my TH55. I'm just looking to see if I can get better quality and/or smaller file size by using the newer IC.
