It's hard to imagine that we haven't heard of some out of the major forums who've won. Did I read that the contest was only in the U.S.? I would have thought that at least a handful would have reported.

i won three 15 percent coupons (i entered in three emails) and i didnt even use them. it wasnt even worth it 15% is nothing....maybe a buck or two. i would think that if people did win, forums like 1SRC would hear about it because it was here where it was publised. and US people were only eligible so that makes the chance of winning even better. that person on treocentral MUST be lying. i cant believe palmone would scam there customers like this. its such a shame...

Ok, so let me get this right:
Because you registered in the contest three times, there had to be x# of people registering three times. Every Palm website ran that story, so thats 20+ websites with x #of visitors who even try this. Most, hearing that they can register any number of times do it. The savy ones use multiple emails and still register multiple times. Then 72 hrs later, only one person is able to report that he/she won. At that you call it a scam. Sounds more like the more people that entered the lesser a chance of someone you know winning. And lets say 3 people here at 1src won, are they three people who just visit and arent members, or 3 people who contribute frequently. There are too many variables to just dismiss it as a hoax. Maybe being polite in asking palmOne if they could release a list of the winners would prove to be the fake/not fake test or not. But just throwing out there based on speculative data makes for an illogical and irrational means of drawing a conclusion. I understand if you really wanted to win and felt bad, heck I couldnt win because I write for a website(s) that promote palmOne. But to call it a scam without getting any hard proof is just foolish in my opinion.

I 'won' the 15% off entire purchase code. But it had to be used within a ridiculously short period of time - 5 days - I chose to pass. In my case, I would have saved $82.

I know we all visit all of the same PDA related sites. One person at Brighthand reported winning -- but they have not posted since. It seems odd that none of the Palm enthusiast won a Treo. Also I if I just one a $600-700 PDA and I have never visited one of these boards; I am sure I would start googling away and eventually arrive here.

I got the 15% off and cancelled my order for the treo bluetooth headset (which was on backorder and I had been waiting for a week and a half), re-ordered it with the 15% off and amazingly it was shipped that day, I wonder if they forgot my backorder until I cancelled it. Anyway, I did/was able to use the 15% off deal.
