compatibility of nz90 with sony clie battery adaptor PEGA-BC10

has anyone had any experience with using the sony clie battery adaptor PEGA-BC 10 with the nz 90. much earlier previous threads were only speculating that it would be compatible. at the time they were written there were no available nz90 units on hand and were basing their replies with experience with the nr and nx series. I have 2 concerns about the compatibility.

1. is the sync port configuration of the NZ90 similar to the nr and nx series which i know can use the pega-bc10?

2 due to the design of the nz 90 the sync port is enclosed and located deeper compared to the nx and nr series. would the port attachment of the battery adaptor fit this space?

I am using a Taiwanese made compatible AC adaptor originally bought for my nr. It works well with my nz. The plug of the compatibles should be the same as your battery adaptor. So I think the answer to both of your questions is yes.

Please be careful of the connector. It may not be that sturdy and Sony has shown an advisory in some of it's online brochures.
