Hi, Im just wondering if theres anyway to set the hard buttons or maybe the jogdial for the Media Launcher music? I want the jog dial to control the volume and 2 hard buttons to control next/previous song and the other hard button for play/stop.

Try KeyQuick, you can arrange keyboard combinations to audio control functions.

But the english documentation is generated with a japanese to english translation software, so to know how to use it, you may need to check these 2 links:

KeyQuick is very good at handling audio controls. i assume that you would like these controls, while the ux is closed. The problem is that these buttons are on "hold" even if you just shut the lid. (The jog dial remains operable when closed.)

In the native UX audio player in list view, you can control the track selection with jog up/down, and jog press to select the track. So when you're walking down the street you can scroll up and down the list and press to select. If you have the audio player in "track info view" (for lack of a better term) then the jog dial controls volume.

I tried ML from the VZ, but can't remember how the jog acts in that application.

Either way, you won't be able to use the hard buttons while the unit is closed.

Sorry to be negative, I'm still looking for the solution myself.
