I've never really dealt with expansion cards on pda's before. I keep seeing on the threads here about putting audio in the MSAUDIO folder on the memory stick. Is this folder created during formatting? Do I need to create folders for MP3's, books, pictures, etc.?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't have my clie yet so I can't start playing with it and I'm getting anxious!!!

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people...:)
Just kidding. I still consider myself a neophite, and constantly lurk here learning new things... You've got a great site here to learn from.
Most of the time, the folders you need will be created by the applications you use.
In the case of music, the MSAUDIO directory is created by default. Simply drop you MP3's there. You may want to check documentation / other threads to learn about what sample rates are playable on the NX.
Preparing for a new toy is only a taste of the pleasure it will bring...

You can also use the MSExport (on PC) and MSImport (on CLIE) to move your MP3's to the MS. Be wary of long filenames, however.

The clie doesn't support VBR so don't use this when you encode your mp3's.

I use MS Import on the Clie in concert with the Windows Explorer file manager on the desktop PC to move my mp3's. Make sure the mp3's are NOT set for copy protection. You can use the purple or white memory sticks.

I use Music Match for ripping my mp3's.
