Ok, I'm not sure, but I think I accidentally deleted some audio codecs or something.
When I open audioplayer, I get the following message:
"A software library required for this application is missing, or this device does not support audio playback."
Can anybody send me help me to get this funcationality back without doing a hard reset (I hate having to re-configure all of my settings)

You tried to install MediaLauncher, didnt you? If so, I would recommend using the built in backup program to make a backup, delete the files you installed from the backup, and do a hard reset and restore the backup. Thats the best way I know. I dont think even a warm reset will let you delete some of those files.

I did try the medialauncher, but I had thought I'd deleted everything from it.
I really don't want to do a hard reset, so I'll just buy pocket tunes. I want to get shoutcast support anyways.

You can buy PocketTunes, but before you do, remember that the TH player is going to get better battery life, and the new player TCPMP (formerly Betaplayer) for Palm will likely be as good as PocketTunes after a month or so.

Im trying ptunes right now i don't get the screen off thing. should i just use the hold switch we have? Also when i use underclock DA the lowest i could take it was 64. 32 will kill it. I was downloading an mp3 off of smbmate while listening with ptunes and it frooze. Anyway im starting to like but like you said it drains alot of battery.

You can't drop the CPU speed too much with other Audio players; 64MHz is probably the bare minimum.
The reason is that all the other apps use the CPU to decode MP3s, NOT the DSP chip. If you underclock the CPU there is not enough processing power left to decode the MP3 and handle all the networking etc..
There's no way around this...
