Has anyone gotten WMP 10 to "sync" to the correct directory (msaudio) with out subfolders. It seems like neat feature that I would really use, but there aren't any options that I can see that would allow me to change where it is copying mp3s to.

If not, what windows software is everyone useing to manage/play thier MP3s. How well does it play with your clie. I have around 20 Gig worth of MP3 and I'm becoming tired of loading my MP3s by hand in Win File Explorer

Thanks

If you use MediaLauncher, I moded a version so that their is a MUSIC folder in the main directory. Instead of PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO. If you use AudioPlayer, I moded a program to make the audio be in the PSP/MUSIC folder. These are easier to access than PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO. Also, WMP10 allows you to view folders on a selected drive. You can connect your device to your PC then select the folder of your preference from there. Go to the Sync menu.

I am using the MediaLauncher that you posted. I'll look into your suggestions

I downloaded and installed the latest modified version from the Media Launcher thread.

In WMP10 I go to the sync tab and I can select the new MUSIC folder, but WMP 10 syncs to the root directory.

If I go into options and select the option to create the hierarchy, then I get several folders deep in the Music folder, for the Artist and Album. I haven't found a way to select the folder that I want WMP to sync to. Any Ideas? Maybe I am overlooking something.

Seems like you can't tell WMP where to sync to.

So what other software do people use to manage thier music libriaries?

Thanks

Just use dBpowerAMP Music Converter. Look here...

You can use Shuffler, which you can customize to go as deep as the MSAUDIO folder. The only catch is that the source music folder must not have subdirs, it means you have to have all your musi files in one big directory.

Also if you use the hacked media player, you can use any syncing software that is compatible with a Sony PSP, those types of software are sprouting all around nowadays. For instance, there is PSPVideo9 that I use with my UX and FMP.
