I have found that Keylink is geared more towards keyboard use and data entry. Handshare is more geared toward use of the mouse and presentation/remote access. However, the mouse and keyboard work well with both programs. I own both and find that I use Keylink more than Handshare because I can keep my hands on the keyboard to enter data and can also navigate via keyboard. I bought Handshare first from Palmgear and then later found Keylink.

They are a little pricey but both are excellent programs and I have never crashed using either on my T|T or my T5.

I can click on anything on my screen (not a Clie though). I know that in Keylink at least, there is an option to force Clie detection. Not sure what it does since I don't have a Clie.

One thing that I wish Keylink had was tap and hold support like Handshare does.

One thing I wish is that there was a MAC version cause Keylink ROCKS!

Perhaps you can make it work on a Mac as long as you have a JVM, from the docs:

PC Platforms Requirements
-------------------------
The keyboard input component of KeyLink requires a personal computing device running a Java virtual machine
version 1.4 or later. In order to use USB connectivity Windows 98/ME/2000/XP is required. The Palm Desktop
software must also be installed if USB connectivity is used.
