Recently I lost a memory Stick,on which I had backup my TG50. Is it posible that someone who finds it can restore the info somehow?

Unless it was encrypted (eg. BackupBuddy VFS or some sort of card encryption program), it's entirely possible. (And even if it's encrypted, there's a slight chance.)
Sorry.
Of course, for someone that has a CLIE (if you used MS Backup) to find it and curiously insert it to check for Palm programs on it are impossibly slim. They'll probably find it, browse around, if nothing is found format and use it in their camera or sell it on eBay.
Sorry for your loss.

All right thanks for the input, now I am thinking of getting a MS Duo, since I already have a cam that accepts them and I have the adaptor.
Would a 512 Mb or a gig stick work on the TG50?
You can even put 2 gigs.
BTW, BackupBuddy VFS is the way to go for you peace of mind.

DanT, I disagree. BackupBuddyVFS failed horribly the one time my TH55 crashed. When I got it back, I could NOT get a full backup. BackupBuddy does NOT back up all the files. of course, it's good for files that change regularly since you can set an auto-backup. However, in my experience it is not even remotely as effective as MSBackup. The latter appears to make a complete backup and restores instantly. The only drawback is that you can't restor to a different Clie (though I guess this could be considered a bit of security). BackupBuddy works great on my wife's Zire, but "not so good" on my Clie...

On a slight tangent a small warning:
MSBackup does *NOT* backup files which have certain characters in their name - I had a bunch of documents with ":"'s in the name, and NONE of them got backed up by MSBackup - I only noticed after I had to do a restore :(
Luckily, I'd set the Backup bit on them, so they were in my HotSync backups (phew!)
OK. May be I should be more elaborate on BackupBuddy. That is true that it can conflict with some apps. I just use it to backup database that change daily such as Datebook, Address, Memo, etc. with automatic daily backup. The rest of RAM backup I still use MSBackup (once a month or before installing new app). To get a mirror image restore with up to date data, I use MSBackup followed by BackupBuddy.

Agreed DanT. That's what I do too. MSBackup for a full backup (though Cyker has given me something to look into now) and a nightly auto-backup by BBVFS to make sure appointments, contacts, docs, etc are covered. I think to do MSBackup maybe once a week, but even at that 7 days can be a lifetime if it's a busy week and I lose all my new stuff :)
Cyker, how did you set the backup bit? Sounds like I could set HotSync to do a full backup each time (albeit incresing the sync time) if I wanted to. Am I right?
