View Full Version : How do you prevent programs from synching when doing a HotSync?

I want to completely wipe the programs from my Clie and keep my address book/dates but everytime I do a HotSync, the programs automatically re-sync. Is there any way to prevent this?

Yes. This is how I would do it:
1. Hard reset your Clie.
2. Move the apps in PC (Program Files/Sony Handheld/your HotSync username) from backup to archive folder.
3. Put your Clie on the cradle.
4. HotSync.
