View Full Version : I took the plunge and bought the NX60

Should be here in a couple days. I can't wait to get it and start playing with it. I really want to learn how to convert tv show's I've dl'd and be able to watch them on the clie. The other big thing is going to be getting the wi-fi card up and running with my home network. I can't wait! :D

If you want to impress people with the NX60, you have to get some videos and convert them to play in Widescreen mode. That blows most people away when you show them.

what program do I need to convert mpg's into something I can watch on the clie?

The NX60 comes with the necessary conversion program.

I'm planning to get an NX60 and a WiFi setup, and maybe if I'm lucky, a 256MB Pro stick. I can't wait either! Thanks for the movie conversion tip!

It showed up today! I have to wait two more hourse before I get home. Then I have to charge it for four hours!

First thing I'm going to do is dl LCD analyzer and check out the display. Then if it's ok, I'll move all my apps over to it! Tonight is going to be a long night! :D

Well I got it and I love it! I'm so glad I didn't get the TG 50. Not saying anything bad about it I just love the screen on the NX. I've got most of my apps running on the clie and transfered over a music video and some mp3's. I'm going to search now to find the best way to encode mp3's for the clie. I had some problem with some of them not playing. God I love this thing! :D

It is a great little machine - check out MusicMatch for MP3s, if you use Sonic Stage everything will be ATRAC

Congratulations. You might want to use WonderSilk for your virtual graffiti display. This is a free program that works with the Clie (they even have a built-in button for it, right at the bottom). Once you've installed it, you can select from a WonderSilkSkin gallery to pick your graffiti skin.

I personally use one that provides me with eight programmable buttons, a tap pad for numbers, buttons for the four "machine buttons" that are only accessible when the clamshell is open, and a complete set of audio controls. This doesn't interfere with the operation of the virtual graffiti in any way.
