On the market, but soon off, in my honest opinion is the t665c (and not just because I own one:) ) or the SJ33 if you can handle the fingerprints!! The best color clie that is now retired will have to be the N760c. What do I base this off you ask? Price, features and nice looking device, that simple!!!

I agree with mastervtec, the N760C is still the best bang for your buck. I just sold my refurb one off of ebay, I hated to do it but I really did not need three Clie's (my other two are a S360 and a NR70V).

How much did you get for it?

I got 172.50 for it, that includes shipping.

I've still got my trusty N760C. I bought a NR70V and used it for three weeks and returned it because I didn't like it as much as the N760C. Every time a new Clié comes out, I look at it longingly and then slowly realize that it's not going to be as good. I have high standards and so far nothing has met them as well. Sony's going to have to do a lot to get this 760 out of my hands, short of offering me a free Clié or physically breaking mine!

Peloquin, I think the t665 is better than the n760 just for the beautiful screen. My dad has an n760 and I can't help but laughwhen I play with it, my screen is SO much nicer. Just my opinion.

Have N760C for 18 months now and it still provides all I need from PDA.

It obviously is not as clear, look at them side by side and then tell me they are the same..

Same here. :)

As for the comment on the T665's screen being better, I'd take battery life over display anyday, especially for a PDA.

Battery life really isn't all that bad on the T665~~

The MP3 remote control thingy is also quite handy. I'm glad Sony put it back to the later models (NX &NZ).

I like my N760C. I even think about upgrading it to 32 Mb. I am using modem for it, but unfortunately only as another cradle :-)

When I had the NR70V I compared the two screens (NR vs N760) and I actually preferred the N760C better. The NR was brighter, but the N760C was "richer" and in my opinion clearer (crisper?). I even tried to adjust the NR70V screen to work better for me, but text was always more readable on the N760C. I also had a much harder time with lighting on the NR70. When I was out in the sun with the NR70 I had a really hard time with the screen, no matter what settings I tried, but I've always been able to see my N760C under any lighting situation.

The nr has always had problems with the screen, it is the least desirable screen in the color clie line up. I will still say my T665 has a MUCH better screen. ;)

Agree. I keep my NX & 760 far far apart.
