I dowloaded a video to my Mac (OSX), ran MS Import and copied it to the Memory Stick. But when I open Movie Player it doesn't show up. I can see it taking up space on the stick via Clie Files, but can't figure out how to load it in the Player. Any ideas?
I do have Missing Sync; maybe I missed a step somewhere in the transfer.
Thanks

Not sure if there is a version of Image Converter for the Macs, but most movies need to be run through the Image Converter app to run on the Clie. MPG's can run nativley though, and if you do a search in this forum and the video forum, there are a few threads that tell how to do that.

Well, seems that the movie needed to be in the PALM/Programs/gMovie folder to be able to be run. It was already in the correct format just not in the right location on the Memory Stick. Is this others experience too?
Thanks

oooh, you just had the same prob i have. but i solved it withe the kinoma producer. unfortunately it costs me 30 dollars and takes a long time to sync. would you explain to me, what i have to do? just but the mpeg in the right folder (named Palm/Programs/gMovie)? and what ending should the movie have? MQV? MOV?
thanks

If your talking about Kinoma movies, the files should have the ending with .pdb and would go into the /Palm/Programs/Kinoma or /Palm/Programs/gMovie folders.
If your talking about the NX Movie Player files, the ending should have .MQV and go into /MQ_ROOT/100MQV01.
MPG files with the ending of .MPG can go into /MSSONY/MOML0001/ as long as they are named like MOV0****.MPG where the * is any number.

Did Sony do that to make it compatible with it's digital cameras?
I am not much into the movie thing, so I don't know.

Sorry if I was not clear. The movie had already been converted it was not an MPEG file. I had downloaded it from mpjd.com(NX Videos), but I just had it in the top level directory of the memory stick and apparently the movie players could not find it there.
I think you still need some sort of conversion program like your Producer or otherwise to convert the MPEG file.
