checking aol e-mail

Does anyone know how to check aol mail offline using the NR70? I've tried their palm aol version but haven't been able to connect to the web in any form or fasion (even with the supplynet cable that I wasted $50.00 on). In any case, I was wondering if cliemail or snapper would allow me to access my aol e-mail account via hotsync. I would be happy getting my aol e-mail in ANY way if you have ideas. I doubt it, but thought I would ask.

AOL 2.0 and AOL 3.0 work both fine on NR...

Connect with your landline modem or cellphone modem dial up over IR or cable. I am not quite sure about hotsync connection (never used it) since I have my email client on my MAC/PC and the NR (now NZ) for on the run purposes.
Set up: under connections set up a new profile, PPP, Init string (depends on your modem, mostly used AT&FX4), connection over modem...

Iambic mail can also fetch over IMAP mails from AOL (at least in Germany)...
