T3 Ticking Time bomb

Has anyone had this problem: when I drop my T3 onto the dock (whether plugged into charge or not) it starts ticking like a geiger counter or a mini bomb. If I go to the silent sound profile it stops - go figure. It also happens even if I put it into another dock. Anyone have solutions? While it blow up soon? I am still under warranty I think. :confused:

That's weird. I haven't run across that problem. You might want to try a HotSync, and then a hard reset. WARNING: A hard reset will restore the unit to it's out of the box state. Only perform a hard reset after a good HotSync.

As for the warranty, it is one year from the date of purchase.

well the only thing that could tick would be the speaker because there is no hard drive. Does it do it when you put headphones in it?

Mine does the same thing, even when it is in silent. Sometimes the screen flickers and or turns itself on and stays on, even though I have "Stay on in cradle" set to off. It's been happening since I've had it.
