615 or sj/22

My wife's visor prism died. Now I need to get her a new color device and I wouldn't go with anything that isn't hi-res. Here's the dilemna. She doesn't need video or mp3. At 199 I can get either a new sj/22 or a refurb 615. Both 16mb. Both hi-res.

Help me out... which one and why???

For just a couple dollars more you can find a t665. A little faster plus she can use it to change the chanel while your watching the man show...

Screwed up reds on the screen
Normal Memory stick IO speed
Thin and slick

SJ22:
Better screen (fixed colors)
Broken memory stick IO speed (Hellaciously slow)
shorter but thicker (and not much of a looker)

I loved the 615. The colors are a little washed out though. The MS access would be slower on the SJ22, unless they have fixed it since the SJ30. The T615 has the built in TV Remote software.. which I found myself using more than I thought I would. The form factor is also very hard to put down once you get used to it. Going from the T615 to the NR70V was almost painful. I see the T615 as a more elegant PDA than the SJ22. But both are wonderful devices.

See if you can go somewhere that you can hold both of them (outside of the cages at Best Buy). Let her look at both of them, hold both of them, use them. See what she likes. The screen on the SJ22 might win her over, but the metal case on the T615 just gives you a feeling of quality.

I agree with aem2kcivicsi. Find a T665. The screen is much nicer and you get all the look and solid feel of the 615, plus faster mem stick and faster processor.

Battery life suffers (so Ive heard) with the T665.....get it if you need the speed, if you dont the T615 is a great machine.
