Just wondering, if someone knows about a Tamagotchi app or game, just like the little toys that were a hit a couple of years ago. People actually cared about their Tamagotchi, so I was looking for something similar for my Clié. I know Bebop is similar to the Tamagotchi, but I think it's more The Sims, than a pet.
There was a app called PortaBush for palm, maybe someone heard of it.

Just wondering.

there is a whole line of Porta- games for palm os although I haven't played any in years. I remember there being a PortaBush, PortaPam (as in Pamela Anderson), PortaPimp, PortaHo, PortaMonkey and some others.

Thanks for the link, all the porta games look funny, but sadly the files have been removed from palmgear. Maybe someone has the file and can actually upload it here.

I was happy to see this thread in the Clie forums, because I'm finishing a shareware Tamagotchi for Palm/Clie that I'm very excited about.

It's sort of a hybrid between a Tamagotchi and a desktop Pet. It will play with toys, learn when you reprimand or praise it, age, poop, run around, etc. It's already running nicely and I'm putting finishing touches on it. It requires a color Clie or Palm though...no more greyscale support sorry.

We're looking at about 3 weeks before I'm proud enough to release it. If anyone is interested, send me an email (nospam1@ldw.com) and I'll put you on a list for the first trial release. I might need a couple beta testers too...

Nintendo released a version of Tamagotchi for Gameboy before. If you had a GB catridge of it, you can get Liberty, download the ROM (somewhere...) and should be able to play it on your PDA.
