Yttan,
For whatever it is worth, I just installed the latest beta of JackFlash 3.0 it seems to work perfectly with my NZ90 and reports that there is 3327k worth of free FLASH. that is plenty of room for NetFont and a few other things. It also have a tool to setup the FLASH so that these apps is permanently there in case of a bad crash. I think I will secure NetFont and the email application... Maybe also my Chess Game.. I mean - in a desperate moment one gotta have a chess game handy.

CliePlanet reports that it addresses some Tungsten T issues. I have no plans to install it as the last version is working fine on my NZ.

How can you say that if you haven't tried it? It seems that you might be making an assumption .

My assumed is based on logical fact. Just think what kind of improvement you got from beta 1 to 3. Personally i using beta 3 which is more stable than beta 2 in my NZ and beta 1 in my NX.

I bought Jackflash today and i got only 1,2 meg free, maybe depending on language files in the Multilingual Version. But is there already a Programm out with which you can erase Flash saved Applications on an NZ90.
Noooo. do not start erasing anything in FLASH, particularly nothing that you did not put there in the first place... if you did start erasing stuff out of flash... you are asking for trouble..! YOu may make the NZ90 useless.

You are absolutely right on this one. I would only upgrade if there is significant benefit to the risk of trying yet another beta.

by the way, the "logical assumption" that a new version is better than the previous one is false. I've been in software development for 31 years, it just ain't necessarily so.
YTTAN, you are a valuable and energetic contributor, but you should refrain from opinions not based on fact...
I'd start by verifying the changes from the author, then validating the function yourself.
As I have had no problems, and I AM a user, I could not tell if it was better except if it gave more functionality.

(YTTAN, pls do not take offense, just trying to help calibrate your comments for more "neophyte" users who might be led astray)

Thanks for taking it as constructive criticism...
By the way, you DO have a NZ, right?
I'm curious why you haven't bought Jackflash, it is worth the money...
Regards,
Greg

Well I do bought it. I hope developer for Jacksprat can just like ayasin can beat Sony developer to enable Jacksprat on Sony OS 5 as well. That will be perfect as I got a lot of applications to clear.
