I did a hard reset - back up restored everything. Now I can't sync my data either wireless or by cable. It hangs up in intellisync dates and gives error message. I never have had a problem with sync prior to this hard reset. I rechecked my Intellisync settings, rebooted the computer, soft reset the Clie, to no avail. I tried searching the forum.
I am syncing to Outlook and use Datebook 5. I can't even sync addresses because contacts are after dates! HELP! My first major Clie failure in 2 years.

We can help more if you have a specific error message. :D

It connects and lists the discrepancies. I press accept it says "Unable to process request" - the heading if from Intellisync dates. I tried using the cable instead of my usual wireless hot sync.

Try forcing some of your conduits one way or the other. Either set them up to have your handheld overwrite the Palm desktop (or whatever you sync to) or set it up to where your desktop overwrites everything.
To do this, right-click on your Hotsync icon in your system tray at your lower right corner of the screen by the clock. Select CUSTOM then select CHANGE. Now change the DATEBOOK conduit to HANDHELD OVERWRITES DESKTOP then click DONE. Hotsync and see if this fixes your problem.

I vaguely remember a patch for Outlook 2003 but can't find it on my hard drive.
I did another hard reset and now it "syncs" but when I look at the calender nothing new I've entered in Outlook shows up.
I'll try the conduit thing next. Not being able to sync is torture.
Still the wifi works great! I'd hate to get a new PDA/smart phone.

I did another hard reset and I'm back in business!
