Where can update and/or download the latest software connections for my Tungsten? I would like to able to connect to a mobile phone via infrared but I do not have the model phone as an option on my PDA phone connection database. Where can I get more options and/or an updated DB for connecting my pda to a phone via IR( I currently have very old model phones I can connect to but not new ones).

Check the palmOne website under support. There was an update to the Phone Link drivers late last year. There is a notice on the bottom of the page for those phones still not supported, but for the most part, many are.

This is what it tells me to do.
http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,kb=PalmSupportKB,CASE=obj(20913),ts=Palm_External2001

But I cant even pass number #6. After pressing next, all I get is a blue screen and at top of screen says setup running. Stayed here for 20 mins and nothing is going on. And then when shutting down "The remote procedure call failed" is what pops up. Does anyone here has a working setup program or the files needed for me to get this stuff?

Sounds like you may have a corrupted file in there. I would try a hard reset and then installing programs back one by one to make sure nothing silly goes on. Other than that, I dont know what to suggest to you.

Yeah, was thinking of doing the same thing. Will have to do that some other time. currently at work now. I did try to upload the updates via palmone site which they had and it worked but the only thing I saw different was more nokia phones were added on my DB. What happened to the other phones? I want the other phones(waaaaa). But that is the only update I can find and tried it out. But if anyone has the new new updated Phone Link DB please share(what specifically aiming for is phones such as the newer nokia[hard to keep up with those knowing that they make new ones every week], new Ericssons, and motos, and any other IR enabled phones that are new models.)
