I'm leaving the forums due to a time management issue I'm having. I've been spending too much time on the forums and have been doing poorly with my work at home. You all are not to blame. This is my own fault. Once I'm able to manage my time more efficiently. I'll be back to contribute. Thanks all for the help and hospitality. I'll be back once I'm back on track with my school work.

Don't thank us, as it is we who have benefited immensely by your presence in this forum - do concentrate on your school work, as Ford used to say "It's Job One!" for you right now, and come back when you can as you will be missed :)

And in a week maybe twice, and finally in a month you'll be back!!

Your contribution is very much appreciated, here! ;)

How about 1 day?! Go online with the UX during exams and we can give you the answers...your parents will be so impressed that they'll even donate hundreds of dollars to 1src.

I've been lurking these forums for a while now but have only started contributing recently. I must admit that all your work and dedication (plus everyone elses) to the UX-series has kept this forum alive for so long. Come back soon. Here's some advice from a fellow student... Essentially our little toy is an organizer before anything else (i.e. mp3 player, camera, videos, etc) The UX has kept me on the ball and at the top of my class. I hope some of the suggestions im going to make help you out...

- use the voice recorder for lectures and transcribe accordingly
- type up all your notes and put them in a format you could use to read comfortably on the device
- use the datebook/to do and organize your life to very hour (make categories for everything) ***be realistic here***
- there are freeware quiz applications that really help keep up your test skills
- I have a countdown application that I check everday that represents my primary goal

Very good advice...I also use my UX religiously in my education. I do indeed voice record my classes. I also use the ToDo app to remind me of assingments. I use the Meetings app to setup my course schedule.

Thanks for the advice. I'll definately try to free a 1GB to record up to 6hrs of voice. I use RakaDA and ToDo List (built-in and Agendus) now. I used to use Docs to Go and save my assignments due to my device crashed once and you get the picture. I see my UX as more of a destraction than a help to me sometimes. Not during class but after (while doing HW). I'll try to keep in touch but I'm trying to first punish myself for my slacking by not using my UX for 1 week. Hopefully, I'll learn my lesson. Today was my first day without it and except for the ToDo list, I felt like I really did not need it. I'll try to keep you guys posted. But I won't be going anywhere. Just will limit my visits.

Weeeee.....he is back!!! Dude, just put it away when you're home and use it when you're out. That is, until the vacation comes. Remember, you have control over your life, and over the UX. It's all about being more mature and taking charge of your actions. I used to play video games too much and it really interfered with my school. What did I do? I gave my 3.0 GHz to my brother, and purchased a laptop with a shitty video card. Also, I did not, and WILL NOT, purchase an external mouse as I know that will get me back into gaming.

See, just take charge and modify your habits. The UX can be a valuable tool which can drastically assist you instead of distract you...you just need to control yourself prior to controlling it.
