Can't HOTSYNC, data not backed up. HLEP

Suddenly my HOTSYNC operattion is interrupted because it says "SOME OF YOUR DATA WAS NOT BACKED UP" I've tried re-installing the whole thing, even errasing everything before and the same thing keeps happening, what am I doing wrong? has this happened to any of you before? PLEASE HELP!

I own a PG-NR70V/U if this helps in anyway.

Did you reboot the computer and do a soft reset on the Sony. These usually clear up my problems of this type.

How do I do a soft reset without Yi-show? and I don't know if I can reboot the PC and how to do it.
