What are the odds that the next TG (with a 380x420 screen) will have a good screen? (nx or even NZ ;) quality?) -- as opposed to the screen on the TG50

Extremely low. Sony seems commited to keyboards (but you never know).

well, i hope they don't release a 380x420 screen... possibly 320x480, though... s_n_m, where do you see that Sony is committed to keyboards? they have the SJ22, SJ33, TG50 and NX/NZ series. Two of them, the NX and NZ, are designed for the power-user who wants everything. Then there's the SJ22 and SJ33 which are the low-end models. Finally, the TG50 with a keyboard. You don't think Sony is going to skip the hundreds of people just on this forum that want a HR+ T-series, do you?

What's wrong with the screen on the TG50? I LOVE it. Of course I upgraded from a Palm V.... :p

I like the TG screen. It's gotta be the best in clarity and color -- NO MORE BLUE TINT!!!!!
Of course you pay for it with the 'stage light' effect at the bottom (wavy shadows).
I'd love to see a 320 x 480 screen using this type of screen!

I wouldn't mind the extra screen real estate on a TG sized model. I strongly think Sony will be releasing a smaller Hi-Res+ device, but most likely it won't be until later this year when it will have more memory and using an updated OS.
