Well, I have been using WiFile to send files from my UX to my laptop wirelessly. But recently, I have been crashing when using the SEND option in Zlauncher. So I was wondering if there is anything else that could be used.

Thanks in advance,

Have you tried SMBMate? That's what I've been using. I tried WiFile, but I guess I liked the old school interface better. :)

Where do I get SMBMate? And how do you go about sending a file to the laptop with it?

SMBMate is available as freeware here... http://www.1src.com/freeware/fileinfo.php?id=336

It's the precursor to WiFile. When you connect to a SMB share, there are options to move/copy to/from the networked device.

Downloading it...I'll give it a try.

Wow...it's pretty much exactly like WiFile...and it's free. Well, I discovered how to Copy to Server with WiFile, so I'll stick with it until it expires, then off to SMBMate! I just like how WiFile's setup is more automated, but SMB's isn't bad at all.

Do you guys know how to setup SMBMate using ADHOC mode? I had tried numerous times, but still could not make it work via ADHOC or does it only work in INFRASTRUCTURE mode? Anyone uses ADHOC mode and SMBMate?

I don't know about ADHOC...I don't even know what is it. But in your laptop/desktop, if you right click and go to Properties on the folder that you're sharing, then you can see the exact path of the folder as it is seen by other computers. Mine was "\\PONEH\Shared Documents". So I typed that in the options in SMBMate and it worked. Make sure the right IP address is also being used.
