Discounts on T|T5

I am considering purchasing a T|T5 (or a Zire 72). If I were to buy from someone other than P1, can the any of the discounts listed on P1 be used even if the the website does not specifically mention them. In other words, when I bought my Sonys from CompUSA and registered them I got the some of the discounts on the Sony website.

By the way, I would seriously consider waiting and buying a Zire 73 if I knew that it was real. There seems to be as many "voices" suggesting that it is real as there are that it is not. Any more rumors?

You would have to check with the respective store's policy regarding how they may do discounts and rebats from the manufactuer. Some honor them, others do not.

palmOne usually makes announcements around the middle to end of April, so I would say give it a week or two and you would get the confirmation on any rumors.

That's a greate deal. I just picked up one from Buy.com for $341, with free shipping and a $15 off coupon, making it $326 shipped, and I still get the $50 rebate (as I'm sure you will too).

I didn't hear anything about a $50 mail in rebate...did buy.com offer it to you, or is it something that P1 gives you when you register it? That would be RAD if i get the $50 rebate as well. I also got a hard case along with the T5, so with those two items, and shipping, it came to $365. Not too bad, i am stoked about my purchase. I just have to wait till Thurs-Fri to get it now. Anyway, let me know how you are getting that $50 rebate...i would like to know.

Check on e-Bay. I got my T|T5 on ebay.com for $278 brand new. Your best bet is to find an auction that doesn't end on the weekends. I've found that they don't do nearly as well. (Something to remember when you're selling, too!)

Buy.com has the hard case for $23, so it was $365 for both as well. ($350 after the $15 coupon). After I bought it, there was a link to download the mail in rebate, but it looks like a P1 rebate, so I imagine it's good no matter where you buy it.
